MEET ALL YOUR PURPOSE WITH X-RAY IN SWIMRUN
X-RAY is an all-around wetsuit for all types of swim runners. The extraordinary buoyancy and ultimate flexibility ensure athletes bring out their best during races for the desired performance.
Both the patented Buo-system made by Yamamoto 8.0mm BCN technology in side legs and Yamamoto Aerodome neoprene with honeycomb-shaped air cells combined NBR foam in side legs ensures you 60% more buoyancy than conventional neoprene, making you lighter as well as faster.
The concept of low modulus is proposed by SUMARPO for the first time in the field of triathlon. Using low modular technology(LMT) can reduce physical consumption and improve the efficiency of the swim stroke. For instance, swinging the arm 300 times in the same unit, the LMT material consumes less energy. By adopting the LMT tested hundreds of times, premium 1.5mm Yamamoto #39 SCS neoprene on the shoulder, and the 580% highly flexible SQ flex inner liner make you feel more freedom.
The large area of Yamamoto SCS coating applied to neoprene greatly alleviates water resistance. (The resistance coefficient of conventional neoprene swimrun is 4.0, whilst the resistance coefficient of SCS coating neoprene is only 0.021.)
100% LIMESTONE NEOPRENE
Premium Yamamoto neoprene is derived from limestone instead of petroleum. Unlike NR (natural rubber), limestone neoprene is a kind of CR (chloroprene rubber), excluding allergens and carcinogens, which is totally healthy for human-being. The exploitation and production process is eco-friendly, with renewable energy sources such as hydroelectricity.
WATER-BASED & NON-BENZENE ADHESIVE
SUMARPO, as the first, adopts water-based and non-benzene adhesives for triathlon wetsuits, which are more eco-friendly than other oil-based and benzene-containing adhesives. This is a historical milestone of triathlon career in environmental protection.
RECYCLED LINING FABRICS
Made from fibers certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100, these recycled & degradable lining fabrics are born from nature and able to back to nature, which helps to protect the environment.
THERMAL INSULATION
The Yamamoto #39 neoprene of different thicknesses keeps the body warm in cold water, which helps to reduce body fatigue and improve performance. A combination of Ti-α seal tech applied at the leg cuffs and Yamamoto neoprene provides excellent thermal insulation, keeping you stay warm in the water.
Extended Endurance
The thermosetting process is applied to reinforce the wear-resistant parts like hips, for product life extension and extra protection from any abrasion caused by any obstacles.
Perfect Ergonomics
-One of the perfect ergonomic applications is a double-layer collar with front and back adjustable velvets which is anti-leak and comforts your neck.
-Another is that double zippers positioned on the front and back maintain your centerline, ensuring your swimrunning balance.
Essential Storage
The adequate capacity of zipped rear pocket and internal pockets are perfect for storing all race-day essentials such as GPS equipment, energy gel, etc.
